...to the Community!

Either my eyes are really, really bad or your picture is way out of focus.

Try laying the coin on a flat surface and shoot another picture.

Use the Image Tutorial to help you.

Good luck!

I think that is one of those rare cents struck with fuzzy dies.
No date and no mint mark.

no its one of those guessing games - whoever gets it right wins the coin!!

seriously - better pictures are needed. you should be able to determine the year just by looking at it.
from your picture I can see there looks to be something where the date is.
below that should be the mintmark (looks like it may be a wheatie) so if there is nothing below the date its from Philly

19XX. Welcome to CCF, but as noted we need better pics to be able to help. One small piece of advice that I'd give you is to place the coin on a flat surface and then move your Chrome Book in and out to get the focus. With the current picture, you have motion from both the camera and the coin.

It looks like a 1917-S but the photo is a little too blurry to tell for sure.

If you can't see it in person it's doubtful we'll see anything in a picture. Can't read anything in these pictures.

If you don't see a mint mark in person, we won't see it in a picture. The mintmark will be right below the date.
