I found this in my change, that I received from cashing in my CoinStar voucher. I think it might be a Retained Cud, but I am not completely sure. There's also a Die Crack running into the top roof of the building as well. My USB microscope broke and I am waiting for my new USB microscope to come in the mail. (Using my phone camera temporally, until my brand new scope arrives.) What do you guys think of it?

So far it just looks like a rim to rim (short) die crack. I can't see a displacement of the die crack area yet.
Here is one that turned into a Cud. (not sure if yours is the same die or not?) Could be.

I thought it was a Rim To Rim Die Crack as well Coop. I think mine is from a different die. Once I get my new USB microscope, I'll update this post with new better quality pictures of the Die Crack.

Some Cuds spread as the die is continued to be used. this one matches the upper board on the fence, but extends below it. Cuds-on-coins any help?

I looked on cuds-on-coins.com and I couldn't find any dies pairs that match my Die Crack.

I'm still thinking this one may have spread out (On the OP's coin) and continued to expand. If so they might want a pre/cud picture? But you would need a good marker match to prove it was from the same die.

Thank you Dorado and Jim! The only way to know for sure is for me to put it under my new USB microscope, which is still in shipment right now.

It is indeed a Retained Cud, since there's slight and noticeable displacement of the broken piece of the die. Here's a better picture of the area in question. What do you think of it?

Better pics for sure! You can see it where it starts on top of the rim. There is a small Cud on top of the rim. After seeing the new pics I believe it is a Retained Cud. Great eye to see that one David!

Thank you Jim! I received my new USB microscope from Walmart online. I was also having software issues, do to the very recent Google Chrome update, that messed up the compatibility of my USB microscope on my default camera app on the Chromebook. (They updated the camera app, and it messed the compatibility of my USB microscope up, so I bought a brand new Windows 10 laptop for 379.00 at Walmart. It's has been problem free so far.)

I can see why this one get missed. It's pretty small to the naked eye actually. Luckily, I saw the Die Crack, and after I put it under my 10x loupe, it turned out to be a Retained Cud.
