Hi everyone, I am getting very excited. Crossing fy fingers on this one. Several die markers are matching, I'm trying to get good pictures of the rest. So far I have- Obverse: Heavy die scratch from left bottom of N of "IN" to the center of N Reverse: Die Scratch from Mof "UNUM" left into field above E of "ONE" Die Chip next to rim at 3 oclock

Boy there seem to have been a lot of these lately. These pics don't suggest proof surfaces or a general proof appearance. Better pics would help.

My coin looks very much (surface wise) like this one. This one is a 1909 matte proof.

Here is the 1909 and 1912 comparison..1909 is on the bottom. And a picture of the 1912 coin I used to compare rims.

I honestly do not know. I am just excited to FINALLY have die markers that match! Looking through the list of diagnostics ..and checking them off one by one..and then trying to take pictures to capture the markers. I am not the best w photos. :)

They ones with the VDB are worth about 10X more than the missing VDB cents. I just check the PCGS site and none of them show the die chip on the right wheat lines. The obverse on your coin is showing a fingerprint from the 'N' area. Did you note the outside edge of the your coin? It is rounded. The Matte proof cents are squared. Take a look again at your coin and the second one you posted? Just not a matte proof cent.

Thanks Coop, from my understanding of the article above this could be the new 1909 MPL die that hadnt been discovered until 2010.Ill post a photo of the diagnostics.

I agree with coop, take a look at the edge, it is round versus flat and square on the proof.
BTW,Please enlighten me, who is Kevin Flynn?
