Hi everyone. Another fruitless search to ID this obverse, mainly because the letters to the right of the bust seem to start with TAM... The obverse also has an extra metal fold to the left. 1.9g, 17mm

Constantine I. DNCONSTAN-TINVSPFAVG. The lettering is a bit carelessly punched. Compare the mint mark SMN(A?).

I believe this one is actually Constantine II as Augustus; there is no MAX in the title.

These are actually less common than you'd think - Constantine II ruled only 3 years due to starting a civil war with his brothers that he couldn't win. During this time, he issued a variety of gold and silver, but his bronze was limited to this type, the scarce VIRTVS AVGVSTI minted only at Rome, and the very rare Festival of Isis type. I don't believe I ever found a coin of him as augustus in any of my lots, and finally caved and bought one from an auction house.
