I am certain this is a rpm, and I think it is 1951-1mm-001 from Coppercoins site. Can I get verification or help figuring out which one I have. It does not have the BIE crack, so it would have to be an earlier die state.

It looks close to the location for that RPM. Could you post an image with all the date and mint mark. I could try to do an overlay to see if it is that RPM die or not. I like you deduction of the non BIE. It is probably correct as die could be earlier or it may be another die number. But looks like the one you mentioned. An overlay would confirm it.

Hi,
I did an overlay of your coin and 1951 D-1MM-001

and to me , they fit like a glove. I would wait for Chuck to confirm but he might be in Baltimore this week. heres the picture of the overlay. Your coin is in the background and the foreground is the known RPM. The distance from the numerals is perfect.

Thanks,
Bill

Yup, that's 1951D-1MM-001.

Not in Baltimore - no traveling these days. Haven't been to a show all year, and probably won't make it to a show this year at all.

Hi Chuck,

Thanks for the confirmation...I wasn't sure if you were headin' up yonder to Baltimore to see the seals and go to the show:-)

Thanks Again,
Bill
