More than the 0.13g tolerance by .015g. Not really sure what to think.

Struck on a slightly thick planchet, I've found zinc cents at 2.72G before.

That's is common. It is still within the U.S. Mint's Weight Tolerance.

No it is out of tolerance, but not significantly enough to have any value. You will start to find interest among error collectors when you reach .3 to .4 grams or more out of tolerance.

Pre copper plated zinc cents
1873 to 1982 tolerance 0.130 grams

Copper plated zinc cents
1982 to date tolerance 0.100 grams

I'm thinking if scale is accurate and nothing's added to coins exterior after strike, 0.145 grams could be slightly over weight stock or a bit heavy on the copper plating. Thanks, Doug.

Or plated twice. Not premium for it either way.
