The front looks like a DDO but I cannot match it to Variety Vista, doubleddie.com or my Cherry Pickers book. I think the ear also looks doubled on the back ridge and the bust on the bottom left corner. The back has some doubling but may be Machine Doubling, I am not good enough yet to recognize the difference all the time. Could I get some opinions please?

I did see a small notch on the "Y" of "LIBERTY", so it could be a minor Doubled Die, but I didn't see any other notches visable. There's also an issue with Machine Doubling as well, on the obverse.

I thought there were notches on the we trust and 6 9. Those are not doubled?

I do see what may be notching on the upper left serif in the word WE. It also has the RDV-002 reverse. I also think there may be a split at the top of 6. The only thing I can find that comes close is the MDO-002. Go to varietyvista.com and on the home page click the tab Master list, from there you can scroll down to Kennedy half dollars 1964 and while you won't have pictures, you can find descriptions.

There are so many master die and working hub issues that year it makes you wonder what the finial tally will be on

1964 50¢ Pr WDDR-002 "Best Of" Variety

Description: Strong Class II quadrupling spread towards the center shows on USA, HALF DOLLAR, the dots, the stars in the circle, and the stars above EPU. Doubling shows on the designer's initials and on the outer arrows. The top olive leave point is tripled.

Die Markers: Obverse: Accented Hair Variety. Master die doubling from WMDO-002 shows on the obverse. Reverse: Straight G in FG. A short die gouge extends from the rim above the first A in AMERICA.

Cross References: CONECA: 3-R-II
Comments: This variety was originally listed as WDDR-017 but was reassigned due to the large number of "holes" that were created in the listings when the reverse doubled master dies were recognized.

Probably so, but Wexler lists it as a WDDR-002. It is on one of the accented hair die halves.

I think this might be the leaves but I cannot tell if the G is straight or the doubled die makes it look flared or it is flared.Could-I-Get-An-Opinion-On-A-1964-D-Kennedy-Half-Dollar-DDO

From everything I have read these are fairly easy to find and not worth getting graded, is that correct?

The last image shows double lighting. That creates shadows that are not really there.
