Good everyone, Just found this Kennedy half dollar and I wanted to know if this is a die crack running through the middle of the coin?

Looks like a scratch to me because it is below the surface as seen on the left side rim.

That ain't no die crack. Die cracks are a bit raised above the coins surface - scratches are below

Have you taken it out of the 2X2? It might be an imperfection on the cello on the 2X2?

Also, try taking your pictures directly over the coin.

to CCF. When ever possible,remove coins from whatever holder they are in before taking pics.

All I see is a line. Could be a die crack, a scratch, a lamination, or just a line drawn or toned on the coin.
