So not sure what going on with this two dollar coin at first I thought it was one of those coins that some one was looking to abuse. However after look at it for a while I thought maybe a fake, note I did have a look at the (2003-2004 fakes and it doesn't look like that)? Or someelse?

I haven't weight it but it feels wrong in the hand tho (could be just the wear) the tint of the coin is slightly dark but not darker as in dirty, as in different

As you can see it is worn but it not the way you would come to expect of 2 dollar coins typically wear convexed rounding of the edges not the fields being worn first

Chinese fake? Probably good enough to to pass off in a casual commerce transaction but not good enough to to pass off with a closer exam.

True that was my first though, but there not much reason to do it to a two dollar coin other than it was used a some sort of acidity test even then you probably want to use a small denomination of coin eg. 50c.
Oh one more thing the edge pattern is quite clear and not worn away o.O

So thats the mystery, wouldn't mind keeping a fake counterfeit

I was thinking Dryer Coin, but what year is it? It looks a bit like 1993.
