Where are you seeing doubling? The glare is bothering me a bit,but there might be MD on the mint mark.

Just Machine Doubling as mentioned. There is not spread, the device was normal size. The MD reduced the size of the mint mark. Note how the MINT mark is enlarged on RPMs:
