Today I found a 1959 mint set that appeared to be unopened, but I think it may have resealed itself, because when I worked the envelope flap open I found these inside with the coins:

Thats always an unexpected surprise!

I found a folded up $2 Battleship saddle blanket in a 1960's-era proof set envelope once. Very nice note....Even with the folds. Wished I still had it!

Wow, that was quite a find! I'm almost sorry I found these notes, because now every time I open a mint set, I'm slightly disappointed if I don't find something. Lol
