I am back home now after my great vacation in the USA (most of which was an Alaska cruise)! I only found one coin lying on the sidewalk while I was in the States, but I was very happy with it, as it was a virtually BU 2023-D Roosevelt dime, which I didn't have! |

good thing I did; tonight was a rain-out..  ten minutes after i'd finished feeding the cats it started coming down, I had no time for hunting coins.. I got stuck at the furthest point from home on the route, found shelter near the dollar store, waited about twenty minutes but it only continued and then began raining harder, big fat rain, so I took off my shoes & socks and put them- and everything from my pockets that I didn't want getting soaked- into my backpack and rode home.. soaking wet ride, and of course it began to let up as I neared my place, twenty minutes later.. there'll be mo' money tmrw, I got the cats fed before the deluge  |

(I've never been there, or anywhere that far north, in fact, despite having been born & raised in michigan. I've been in key west exactly half of my life) |

did you pick that from a sidewalk in Alaska? No - it was in Seattle, as I was walking to the ship to join the cruise! But I'd definitely recommend a cruise to Alaska! |

they'll do, E&V..  looks like we have more soggy weather on the way, tonight thru tmrw.. my finds in the next 48 hrs could be minimal (but ya never know...  ).. and after sunday we'll finally get our break from summer temperatures.. it'll make bike riding & money hunting much more tolerable..  |

last night the rain moved in just as I was coming to the end of the route, igot rained off the last several stops, so I scored just fifty cents plus another bottle of water.. that is good enough for a rain night. and no matter what I find or don't find tonight, I scored a full unopened box of Little Debbie oatmeal creme pies-- a dozen sandwich cookies!!-- someone left them outside the circle k today, I found them as I was leaving there with a large coffee this afternoon. that is a $3.09 score! yum!! |
