you're pretty good at scoring quarters off the floors of places. I think I need you to come down here & hang around with me a while.

Good day today!

you did much better than I did. good work, helder!

pickins have been very slim the last four nights. lotta rain & wind, not much to talk about, tho I did score a bottle of water two nights ago. the wind is howling outta the northwest today, so maybe the red curb corner will yield some FRN action. not holding my breath...

the cycle's running total is creeping up to $300. in preparation for the next alchemical turn, next week I'm going to calibrate the cauldron for 1/10oz gold.

i think i'll also hit the app store next week. I'm getting a little tired of riding around for two hours and finding little, so i'll purchase a premium Find-D-Money app for my iphone that'll show me (on a map) where all the coins & cash are lying around. it'll save me a lot of useless pedaling.

hfjacinto, what's the year on the one wheat? I can tell the one is a 1955, but the other seems to have road rash right where the third digit is. Is it a 1930 (!) or are my eyes playing tricks on me? Looks like $1.15 in that pile in total - very similar to my total yesterday of $1.12.

Not a lot of interesting stuff lately, vending machine finds have been surprisingly light and there's been almost nothing at the McDonald's drive-through the last few days. But I did find a bottle of Pepsi yesterday, completely unopened on the floor sticking out from under a vending machine.

Believe me, I've often fantasized about being able to find just that. Would it be able to identify where the money is using some kind of radio frequency system? How would it be able to distinguish between, say, a quarter on the sidewalk and a quarter in a cash register?
