Hey guys, just stumbled on this forum and would love to get the opinion of some of the more experienced note collectors out there.

Few years back I was working as a teller during my college years, and I came across this note in pristine condition.I Thought it was pretty cool that 05 repeated three times and added up to 15 which is the date of my birthday. So I put it away and stored it in my coin collection without giving it much thought.

Fast forward to today, I am pretty much just stacking gold and silver coins as my hobby, so when it comes to paper note collecting I am a little in the dark.

Is there any value in this particular note? I know its a repeater but I have no idea of a ballpark range that it could be worth, if its worth anything at all. If it is worth something, is there a point in getting it graded to increase value/preserve it?

Thanks in advance for any help you guys might throw my way! Merry Christmas!

to CCF and Merry Christmas!

I'm afraid yours is a "close but no cigar" serial. While crisp-looking, the centering on your note is poor. But if you like it, that's all that matters.

Keep hunting!

To the CCF

As stated, not a repeater . The last 1 would also have to be a 0 so it repeats 05 four times. No extra value but you could keep it as a reminder
of your College days.

So close. IT would be a spender. But keep looking as you never know what you will find in the wild!

I haven't found a super repeater yet and this one is so close. But not close enough to save for me. If it was a $1 note I would probably keep it but not a $10. Keep searching.
