Another of the stronger RPMs I found today. Coin looks better in hand but not too awesome in the super close up images.

I edited this slightly to change it from FS-502 to FS-503. VarietyVista lists it as FS-502, doubleddie.com lists it as FS-501, so I looked it up in the CherryPickers' Guide and they have it as FS-503 (21.94) so that has to be right.

Nice coin! I feel like I accomplished something when a coin matches to an FS variety. Anyways, nice coin! Happy hunting!

The die stages look better as the die aged. Why is that? Die flow extends it to be longer looking.

@tropicalbats, Great coin! Quick question. Is the line on the reverse from the IB of PLURIBUS SW through the O of ONE and the left wheat stalk to the rim a lamination or just a scratch?

The line on the reverse is not lamination, nor a scratch. Series of a couple light dings and environmental hazing make it appear as a linear feature.

Thanks, tropicalbats. Well, rats! I was hoping you had a lam there, as well.

Very nice find. That RPM sure is crisp.
