@EF1982, there are several good threads here on CCF with pics to help you learn to tell the difference between a doubled die and Machine Doubling. If you use the search box at the top of your screen with the keywords Machine Doubling, you will find them. Here are a couple to help get you started:

Die Deterioration doubling, VERY common in 1992.

I've seen this called "ejection doubling" - raised metal on the upper surfaces from the die "smudging" it on the way out. I understand it to be different that the traditional Machine Doubling where the die chatters against the coin, but I could be, and often am, wrong.
