You say they aren't that rare but I've checked every 1995 cent I've found in the last 10 months Definitely one of my CRH bucketlisters. Nice find though

Quote: You say they aren't that rare but I've checked every 1995 cent I've found in the last 10 months Keep searching. It took me almost 4 years to find this one. Quote: Acetone and an Air-Tite? For sure John. Don't want this one rotting away on me. Hoping some Acetone will clear the obverse up some.

Quote: How about a before and after pic? The acetone seems to have cleaned it up a bit. I let it soak for about 8 hours. Looks like the damage on the obverse is there to stay, however it looks better than it did.

It looks like a stain. If it really that pink in color, or is the light bleaching it out?

Quote: If it really that pink in color, or is the light bleaching it out My scope is about 3 years old and I never know what color the camera will favor on any particular day. I had the money saved to get a really nice camera but Christmas hit and I used it for gifts etc. I'll be getting something (hopefully soon) for imaging but for now I'm stuck with what I'm using. Still works good for searching but about useless for imaging.
