2018 ..Rim to rim...Not sure if this is common on proofs but don't have many of them anyways. Ran across this crack that travels up through the A in quarter up to the Y in liberty to or through the chin area comes out the middle of his nose and travels all the way to the edge between the T and E of united.. Minor I would say but just asking to see if this is common or not on a proof. It even has cracks by his hair and neck area on the back of his neck also. .

@K76, for sure some of your images show a die crack; however, the first one between Washington's neck and IGWT, looks more like surface residue from a dried water droplet to me.

In a set straight from mint got for Christmas. Not a water drop. Is it less valuable seeing how it's not a perfect proof?

Pics are a bit unclear, but it looks a little bit like a struck through thread.
Easy way to tell is if the "crack" is incused then struck thru, if it is raised, then not struck thru.
IF it is a struck thru, there are error collectors who will pay a premium for it.

Probably a piece of sealing material. I've seen this before:
Crack-On-Proof-Quarter..
They happen often on proof coins. I've stopped saving them. I just put them back in the roll of them.
