I posted this ebay purchase a few weeks ago, but now I've sent it off to PCGS and I took some new photos before I wrapped it up. Feel free to suggest a grade. I'll post the PCGS result when it comes back. I think I got a great deal for $53! Edited by Jaobler 09/10/2008 12:00 pm

Nice coin, Jaobler. Until recently I would have graded this coin higher, but after having my 1834 graded as VF20 I would have to grade this one F15. I guess I'm no grading guru, but I was disappointed with mine. I'll sure be interested in seeing your grade. Best of luck. Jim

That only got a VF-20, jesbroken? I disagree with that grade and would say AT LEAST VF 30, maybe VF 35.
Jaobler, I'd grade VF 20 or 25. $53? what a steal.

I think this just barely makes VF-20.
At $53, you got a great deal!

PCGS will probably give it a F-15.

The PCGS report is in! They gave my quarter a nice VF-30. It seems a bit generous considering they called Jesbroken's coin a VF-20 and that coin certainly seems to have less wear than my quarter. Maybe they thought the VF-20 coin had some slight problem and applied a bit of net-grading? Needless to say, I'm pleased with my grade. That $53 investment is looking even better!

Wow, pretty sweet. It's probably worth about $200 in that slab.
