It would help if you can provide a size and weight of the coin and perhaps a larger picture. It appears to be medieval in style.

It looks too perfectly circular to be a real medieval coin: I wonder if it's one of those reproductions sold at some castles and museums? Sometimes you can strike them yourself between a pair of dies, as at the Jorvik Viking attraction in York, England.

As with the OP coin, circular flans and good metal, as well as off center reverses, seem to be the norm for these.

Except from Hungary.
As we've seen from this great thread by EddieDiz, those medieval Hungary denars are exceptional on shape and quality of strike: http://goccf.com/t/323749

I find it interesting that Salomon is titled REX PANNONENIA "King of Pannonia", after the old Roman province. Browsing through Huszár, the first coin referencing "Hungary" seems to have been issued by Andreas II ("REX HV") in the early 13th century, though I may have missed something. This wikipedia page provides some clues https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Name_of_Hungary. Fascinating stuff. First, I need more coffee.
