I have been carry this 21 morgan around for a while, when I received it it had been harshly cleaned, so you know, nice and bright, but recently and rather quickly this occurred to the obverse

for some reason it won't allow me to upload the reverse,
Anyway ithe reverse is still bright with a little edge toning starting. the picture shows the blue/purple close to accurate but misses the orange red on the high points, any ideas on why only oneside would be affected and why so quickly?

See if it washes off easily with soap and water, or acetone if the soap doesn't make much difference.

I second the going through the wash idea. Soap does funny things.

Odd that the two sides are toning at different rates. Perhaps the coin had some residual cleaning chemical on the obverse?
