This was not a stupid purchase.
The Seller has good shipping terms as well- $4 flat shipping no matter how many you buy.
Post some pics when you receive them. Enjoy!

Buying one at a time probably not for BU. If they really are BU. There are cheaper ways if you don't care about year and will just except random coins in lots of more than one.

Jimbucks, thank you. A chance to get more bargains, maybe. Is that vendor considered pretty good in general? Their feedback on ebay looks all right.

Just remember, BU could be as low as MS-61.

bad- It's a stock photo, so you are buying sight unseen. good- Seller has received no bad feedback for Peace dollar listings in the last 12 months. How did you determine that coins you have never seen are "worth" $30 each?

Quote: How did you determine that coins you have never seen are "worth" $30 each? Simple. He added the selling price and the postage. $26 + $4 = $30.

You could have done better with your purchase. The coins you will probably receive will be the most common dates in low grade BU and the seller controls the date. The common date Peace dollars on ebay sell for $29/$30 in NGC or PCGS MS63 that you have a chance to view the coin. I also saw a lot of 4 1922 S NGC MS63 on ebay for under $24 each with free shipping.

Post a pic when they arrive, and then we'll know either way for sure.

I estimated the value from price lists online and in books. For instance, the 2017 U.S. Coin Digest has a 1924 P Peace dollar priced at $35 for AU50, and an online list that I'm being blocked from mentioning prices it higher than that. It looks like I should have done more window shopping on ebay first. But I think I'm OK unless the price of silver drops more than a little, which I don't think is too likely.

Weird to me that so many 1-oz silver rounds go for more than that on ebay, ones that don't seem artistic or even attractive. But collectors want what they want. I know what discontinued Gillette razors sell for, even ones made as recently as the 2000's. What's the value of similar grade generic year Morgans?
