Note how the initials when they are doubled look like over inflated bike tubes.

Sometimes we just need to see a few examples and note what makes them a doubled die? We often look at the lists of attributed coins on the sites, but take time to see what is doubled. On Variety Vista, they have a format of including all the devices. So it just one area is showing doubling, the other normal devices are also shown. So look the areas of hub doubling is found. that way you won't think the normal ones match your coin, just some don't. So if you are attributing a doubled die, remember all devices must match. If one area is all that is matching, it maybe a normal coin or it maybe a different doubled die. But don't forget to look at the description.

Note the only affected image of the selection will be the bottom of the 'L' on Liberty. All other devices will be normal. So if you have a match on all the images except one, you don't have that variety.
