1958 D Lincoln Wheat Cent / LWC /Brass? Foreign Planchet?

Skippy72 Valued Member United States 447 Posts	Posted 02/28/2019 09:16 am Good morning everybody. This coin stood out amongst a pile of commons I had on the desk top. It doesn't seem to have a bit of copper and is very light in color. It weighs 3.0 grams. Another thing which I cannot explain is it seems to be a D over D over S, and not to mention if you look through my fuzzy pictures it shows an S under the upper inside of the 9, 5,and under the upper part of the eight of the date. I can't explain it but I am only telling you what my eyes are seeing. There also seems to be images that are raised in the fields of the Obverse and reverse.It weighs 2.9 grams and a bit thinner than normal. I am going to look into this one and research anything that may be online but in the meantime here are a few pictures I thank you in advance for taking your time to look at them. I know my images are far from great but in person it is plain as day there is an S under a d and a D mint mark and an S at the end of the date as well and if looking closely there are actually one under the nine and the five believe it or not I know my eyes are bad but it is clear as a bell sitting here looking at it. And what from my understanding that it is impossible for an S mint mark to be on a coin of this year but again like I said it is plain as day there is no misinterpreting it.... I just kind of misunderstood your answers due to I did not know that post mint damaged placed s mint marks underneath D mint marks on coins is all so I apologize for that now I know.
