Hi I'm a new collector and I have this 1958 Jefferson nickle. It looks to be in perfect condition and it looks almost gold collered unlike any color that ive ever seen on a nickle. Was wondering if its worth anything more then just 5 cents? If anyone can tell me.sorry my camera sucks and the pic doesn't do it much justice. Were nickles made in that time frame made of something different? The color of it is not like any other nickle

OH look. It was minted upside down.
Except the so called War made ones, basically all are made the same. From your photo, looks normal.
Rest in Peace

Looks like a fairly normal nickel to me. Good shape for 60 years old!
