Hello all, hope all are well. This coin was in change from the local convenient store. It loojs to be inrough shape. Yet it has an abundance of doubling. Almost all the lettering. Is this PMD since it's so rough? Please school me in this. I respect all of your opinions.

Your coin seems to be showing heavy Die Deterioration, Machine Doubling, and lots of circulation damage and flattening. In My opinion, you can safely spend this one. Keep looking!

The die that struck your coin has seen better days. It's in a Very Late Die State.

Coins like these are learning tools for me. One day I'll find that one treasured piece, as for now these spendables are wonderful for reference coins of examples of different damage and what causes it. Something to look back at when I second guess myself or not satisfied with my own opinion. Thank you very much for detailed explanations. It is well appreciated

Note on the reverse 'OLD'. That shows you the direction of the Machine Doubling. (affecting the lower part of these devices)
On the obverse note Quarter Dollar. You can see a lot of Die Deterioration on these devices. Even the 'T' is showing DDD. Also USA is as well. Note that the the DDD is always towards the closest rim direction. The Motto shows the direction to the East, the LIBERTY to the West. So when you see enlargement of the devices all towards the rim, it is Die Deterioration Doubling.
