In the condition it appears to be in I think it's absolutely worthless! But somebody may chime in and say it's all kinda rare and you sold it too cheap! Why would you post something to sell when 1) you don't know EXACTLY what it is; and 2) you have no idea of value? ...to the Community, though!

to the CCF Since you asked, in my opinion an unattributed Roman coin in poor condition is worth less than $1. Since you did not know the value, I am curious as to why you picked $10 as the selling price?

We can't tell much about the coin just from that one pic, other than it appears to be a "late Roman bronze" from the Thessalonica mint.
An unidentified or unattributed coin is worth much les than a fully identified coin. But some ancient coins simply cannot be identified; they are too badly worn or corroded. But we can't tell which of those two categories your coin might be in, from that one picture.

Ask yourself this question: Would you pay $10 for that coin from that picture?

A better picture will be needed for an accurate ID, but this reverse (emperor dragging a captive right) is almost exclusively with the legend GLORIA ROMANORVM (Glory of the Romans). It is a very common type from the late empire, issued by 6 emperors - if you get us a picture of the other side, it might be possible to tell which it is, but it won't affect value - all are common rulers. In this condition, I'd say the value is as a curio alone; monetarily, it is probably worth $1, but late roman empire coins in this condition can be bought by the kilo and in that case they can be as cheap as 10c a pop. But it is a genuine historical relic and it was passed through the hands of real people 1600 years ago. If you can get us good pictures of both sides, I think we'll be able to tell you not just which ruler it is, but also which mint city it comes from.
