A bit over 34mm in diameter and very nicely executed.

Good ol' HK-460! Interesting subject and a nice anniversary medal. Don't you like the way bronze ages? I think this is one of the more undervalued SCDs. Thanks for sharing with us.

I'm at your mercy, sir. I neither recognize the catalog reference nor know what SCD stands for.

So Called Dollars.

HK is for the standard reference by Hibler-Kappen.

Yet another book I imagine I'll be having to add to my library.

Sorry for the acronyms. The HK book is really great, but the latest edition is over ten years old and stupidly expensive. There are lots of resources online as well such as so-calleddollar.com .

I've already purchased a very reasonably priced old edition online, which for my purposes should suffice.

I'll have to check that out.

The old '63 edition is reasonably priced and is the one I have. Just have to remember that the catalog numbers are different and there have been lots of new ones added.. Enjoy the read - it's a lot of fun.
