Nice original multi-color toning on the Reverse and Obverse. Have not seen on clad very often. Have seen on silver content Kennedy halves. Has anyone else seen toning like this in the clad issues?Toned-1977-Kennedy-Half Toned-1977-Kennedy-Half

I have only seen that kind of toning on clads a few times. I recently purchased a 1982 mint set that had the coins in a printed cardboard sheet. The cardboard imparted a nice dark iridescence to one of the halves and a few of the other coins as well. Clads normally go the ugly route when toning, but when they tone nice they are very appealing

Thanks guys. I bought it from a guy who had it in an old envelope. That would probably explain the multi-color toning.
