Potential errors referring to the "E" in Quarter. Also the D mint mark.
Please let me know what you all think.

Thanks.

I'd say apparent damage to the "E" in Quarter, and the MM appears normal.

You will get better responses if you orient your photos correctly.

Exactly.

Also, is there something you're trying to show around the date?

I agree with the frog, but at least it is silver!

Yes, the "E" has been damaged from Post Strike Damage ( PSD). It's still 90% Silver, so it will still carry value of course.

@rabbit2009, I use the photo editing software on my desktop computer (MS Picture Manager) to get the correct orientation, but others use different software or apps. As it turns out, CCF has an area where you can practice with "throw-away" threads that are deleted a couple days after you make them. You could practice there and perfect your posting skills. Here is that link:

I am looking at the same quarter in better condition and I'm convinced it was struck over another coin. When I find out which one I'll fill you in immediately. Mine has all the same marks your coin has

@1922hr, first welcome to CCF. Second, I look forward to seeing pics of your coin, but best practice is to start up your own thread. You can include a link to this one as you think it may be relevant. I look firward to seeing what you have.

Are you taking images with a cell phone? If your are, keep the push button on the bottom when taking images. That will keep the images all in the same direction. Give that a try. Also take images with the coin horizontal or the devices your taking, take them horizontal. It is easier for our brains to see what is going on.
