Two boxes of halves turned up no silver but there were two rolls of really nice 71
D's. Do they carry any premium over face value?

Slabbed in MS65 shows $15.00.

Probably costs that much to slab them?

Those are good candidates for a Kennedy album.

@CelticKnot yes that is what I was doing, filling Kennedy books for my Grandkids! But there were two rolls of pristine 71D's in the box!

Beautiful example, not much of a premium, but a keeper for sure.

Unless it's a super high grade 69/70, I'd forget it. Not sure what your goals are or what you collect. It's just clad. I guess I'm old school. Never had much use for circulated clad coins.

If they are nice like that I would keep them, but then that's my hoarding problem lol. They would make great gifts for kids. I used to mix coins like this in with the trick or treat bowl. It's a good way to get a youngster hooked.
