1942-S Mercury Dime Inverted Mint Mark ?

InfiniteInterest Pillar of the Community United States 673 Posts	Posted 08/24/2008 2:22 pm Finally finished looking at over 12,000 Mercury dimes a week or so ago. Didn't find much interesting , a few rolls of XF+ and some G-VG teens- no 21's , and no 16-D's I thought I might spot an RPM or two, but no, not a one . I did however find this one, I think the Mint Mark was inverted when it was punched . It is not listed in Cherry Pickers, but maybe someone else has a listing for it ? The "S" looks more natural ,IMO, if it is viewed upside down...what do you think ? The pic on the left is right-side up, the left, up-side down Report this Post to the Staff
