Hi everyone, I'm new here so I found this coin and would love to know more about it I've been searching online but can't find anything, I would appreciate if anyone can help me

 , weight,diameter and closer pictures would be good info to know..if you can't measure the diameter,place it next to a modern coin so the experts have something to go off of..

I looks like if it was full size would be the same size of penny, I can't get closer pictures can't figure out how to with the size

 As far as making useful images, I'd recommend putting your camera in its close-up mode and get as near as you can to begin with. Then use the "Free Image Optimizer" feature to crop your shot before uploading it.

I cropped and sharpened the pics a bit. Maybe this will help:   I don't know if the orientations are correct, but my best guess is that it is Arabic of some sort. I don't know who to contact if that's the case, sorry.

Could be Mamluk, Ayyubid or other. Kushanshah is the go-to guy for these. Hopefully this thread catches his attention.

I think you'd be safe reposting the coin in the Ancients/Medieval section of CCF. If Mamluk or similar, I suspect it is pre-1600, the cutoff for coins posted there. I think Kushanshah may spot it in that corner of CCF, assuming he doesn't see it here.
