Does anybody have any information about this strange coin? It looks like President Lincoln has a goiter.

Maybe someone just bopped it with a hammer? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Someone hit the reverse with a hammer or a punch/nail set. That caused the depression on the reverse, and the bump out on the obverse. PSD

@bj, first welcome to CCF. Second, yes this coin is damaged, with the "goiter" being metal pushed from the flat punch on the reverse of the coin.
