Hello and thanks for any help here. I have a nice 1860 Three Cent piece and it looks like there is a shield from another trime showing between the pillars. It's so small, and I can't find another like it anywhere. It's easier to see in the black and white image

These are the best pics I can take that are small enough to post.

So I'm guessing it doesn't effect the value one way or another?

It is a die clash. It looks like a normal position for a clash. Probably no premium for this clash.

I read somewhere that die clashes with these coins and the Nickel 3c are so common that sometimes coins without the clashes carry a slight premium.
Still, really cool to see them and a nice coin.

Very possible. I found a DDO on a Twenty Cent coin and wondered why it was never listed. It was mentioned from someone, who would have one of these? They are not common. But I still thought it looked real cool.

I figured out how to get better pics on here. It's a pretty coin, either way. Thanks for the help.

Very nice clashed 3 center! Slightly rotated when the dies had their clash moment too.

It is a very nice coin! Yes, there are often clashes on these so I have not seen them bring a premium.
