This quarter has a die break on the u.s.flag. The inner circle of the reverse seems to be rough. Along with other errors I'm not sure of. Any suggestions?

That would be called a Die Chip actually.

Man, that reverse die looks terribly rusty!

Its not actually rusty. Its a brand new coin. With the lighting I couldn't get what I wanted to show on the coin.

Looks sort of like a die scratch in front of her face also. Maybe a minor die chip on the American flags flag pole but that could also be a ding from another coin there... a worn reverse die near the end of its life cycle?

Igotit....Tunnioc, was referring to the die..the tool that strikes the planchet (blank) to crate a coin. Giving the field of your coin that grainy look..above the girls head and sky above flags..got it?...

That line might be a clash mark? If it is incuse, it might be a coin scratch.

You could be right about the clash. The overlay you showed lines up perfect and its not a scratch at all. Would it be worth grading to find out?

Also, from the overlay, would the bottom neck line of jefferson cause the die chip on the flag from a clash?

I have this same quarter the thing is I compared exact same quarter to each other and there's no doubt about it the circle that is on the back side of this on one of my quarters is also around the front and going through the letters I'm not sure how to upload a picture but I find this extremely interesting there is no other explanation it's the perfect circle just like it is on the backside only again it's on the front side also going to the lettering

I have a number of these marks/errors on my 2019-D Memorial Park. Trying to attach pics but I must be doing something wrong. How are we supposed to do so. I'm selecting media/image and it's not giving me the option to select one. suggestions. Thank you.
