Difficult to assess depth of mirrors from a photo, but I'll say MS-65PL.

I see MS65 as well so I think it's correctly graded. I could see maybe a * or + designation, but no PL as 1880-S tends to be well struck and more of these survived in very high grade than any other date-M/M Morgans.
It takes a special coin to go above MS67 and there are quite a few MS68 in regular PL & DMPL already (294 in PCGS Pop Report in MS68) 1881-S has 198 in MS68, compared to combine all other dates and M/M total only 494 in MS68 or better.
That is out of a total of 3,463,492 Morgans in PCGS Pop report currently.
I've owned quite a few MS66PL in my time, and had some MS67's too, but not in any other date besides 1880-S or 1881-S.

Not sure you'd get the bump to PL or DMPL without seeing it in hand, but even if you leave it as is, it's worth a nice premium due to its outstanding eye appeal.

Agree, just a killer for the grade.

I cant see why it didn't get at least a PL designation.

DMPL is harder to tell from a pic, but PL should be pretty clear.
