Had this low MS NIFC Kennedy for a while but it grabbed my attention just recently when I compared it to it's Denver counterpart. The dating here is very worn, even doubled in some areas, and to a lesser extent can be applied to all the obverse text. The reverse is flawless, but since it's not full doubling I suspect this was just a lousy, late life die strike. Still neat I suppose.

That is a good way of putting it.

I purposely withdrew my first comment, because it wasn't correct at all. After looking at the other devices, it's Die Deterioration Doubling.

I would like to see a close up of the ear. I might just be seeing glare but I still want to check it out.

Also MD on the '2'. The motto is showing a very heavy die polishing issue also.

I think it's all Die Deterioration, no MD.
