I see plenty of evidence that In God We was there, you even posted multiple images of it.

This coin has no sign that United States of America or One Dollar ever existed. What kind of error is it?

... The color tells me it was recently cleaned.

Specifically it looks like what happens when you use a pencil eraser to clean an old, very worn cent.

Well that's very unfortunate that it was unprofessionally cleaned. The very first thing I learned was no matter what do not clean A coin yourself. Thanks for your input Its still pretty cool having a 90-year-old coin.

Bottom line: I'm guessing no one would give you more than Two Cents for this. Just a cull Wheat cent, I'm afraid.

It was normal when it was struck. These are often called a "pocket piece" that someone carried for luck for many years. Not a mint error, just an extremely worn coin.
