1956 Roosevelt Dime- Trails?

I was going through a couple of rolls of silver Roosevelt dimes that I have, and I found this on a 1956 Roosevelt.

It looks a little similar to the lines that are coming off of the date on a 1944 Lincoln Cent I posted about a while ago, only the lines are coming off of the letters IN and E on the obverse of the dime.

Here are pics of the dime and cent.

Same thing or something different on the dime?

Im would guessx die cracks, butfrom the smeared effect on the E, possibly circulation damage.

Just an effect of Die Deterioration.
