Bought it in a large group of nickels... kinda stuck out at me... lol

Oh that is too cool! Checking ebay completed listings, these are selling anywhere from $.50 to $36. I'm guessing yours will command a premium because you can still make out details. It appears the ones that sold super cheap no details were visible (essentially were blanks?). Edited by ElonU

Any coin that is rejected by quality control is "destroyed" by waffling the coin in question.

When they aren't fit to be used in circulation and they want to recycle the coin, they cancel it before it is sent to the recycling. (So the coin won't be used in a vending machine) Then it is snagged out, and sold for far more than face value.  Edited by coop

Definitely a very cool piece to own! I have heard of these and seen them on ebay before. I need to buy one at some point, for my collection.   Errers and Varietys.
