hi, I just found this 1914-D Wheat cent in a bank roll of cents today,its in really rough shape, but it is, still a cool find.its the first 1914-D I have found in the wild.

You don't sound nearly as excited as I'd expect someone who found a key date coin while CRH would be. Congrats!

Not to be a negative nancy, but realisticaly don't expect to find one again. That's a once in a lifetime find, congratz!

When you said you found a 14-D Lincoln in a roll, I expected to see a beat to crap cull . Wow you the man !

If it had actually been in circulation the whole time it would be a worn slick. this piece obviously circulated for awhile in the early 20th century and then got pulled out. It was probably either in a hoard or collection until fairly recently and then got put back into circulation, possibly the great american coin hunt considering the damage on the lower left obv.
