Ive read about this coin and see some mixed emotion here..is it valuable..i hear its common on a few dates but in seven years with myself..my wife and son searching ive only found this suspected phantom d..isn't this technically a 1996 ghost die? Its hard to get a photo cus I only see it when reflected off light..not sure if its a legit double die or not..also see possible pressure lines infield..reminds me of 96 concentric lathe lines..what are your thoughts

I see Die Deterioration Doubling, which is common. Caused by a worn die issue, from striking a ton of planchets at the U.S. Mint. No value for this, since it's not a collectable type of doubling. http://www.error-ref.com/die-deteri...on-doubling/

Does not look like the phantom D. Also,it is always best to remove the coin from 2x2 holders before taking photos.http://www.error-ref.com/?s=phantom+D

Welcome to coin community. I don't know about this phantom you speak, but this coins doesn't appear to be doubled to me.
