Heymikep Pillar of the Community United States 824 Posts	Posted 07/02/2019 12:30 pm Please let me know your thoughts on if this is authentic or if it is a fake? I am not looking for if it has been cleaned or not just if real? The weight is correct at 27.15g. If you think it is a fake then please let me know why you think it is a fake, I am trying to learn more about Trade dollars. Report this Post to the Staff

I have seen many horrible looking REAL coins. The coin in the pictures is in a 2x2 holder and the pictures are hard to take to show the surfaces. Report this Post to the Staff

Slider23 Pillar of the Community United States 4469 Posts	Posted 07/02/2019 5:28 pm The biggest concern that I have on the coins is the denticles above "OF AMERICA". If the denticles look like little tooth picks in hand, I am in the counterfeit camp. I can understand why some members are calling the coin genuine and abused. Report this Post to the Staff

On the obverse, compare the fingers on the left hand, toes, ribbon, and stars. On the reverse, compare the denticles and detail on EPU, the eagle's legs, and sharpness of lettering.
