Hello, Help Needed, 2001 State Quarter With Unknown Surface Metal And Rims

SumpterJ New Member United States 2 Posts	Posted 07/04/2019 01:42 am I'm new to this forum and this is my first time posting, I have a 2001 north Carolina State Quarter with unknown surface metal on both sides of the coin, also, the rims shape is off, by comparison to the same coin, including, by the year and state, It will be greatly appreciated if you could please give me your opinion on this coin, and I would like to thank you for the help with this matter now in advance, Thank You. If you are convinced that it was struck on the wrong metal alloy, a good way to get a quick check is to measure the weight. If it is the right weight then it most likely is the correct metal.
