On one hand, no returns. The other hand, it has the NGC 'expert review'
option. I need pics concentrated around the mm.

The reverse pic on the '77 isn't very large, but it appears to be the Bold N variety, which would be wrong for a circulation strike - and this doesn't look like a proof. Seller has very low feedback and does NOT offer returns. I'd run from both of these.

Very odd. Seller has already sold 3 1916 D dimes. 1st was nicest, 2nd, less, and 3rd the least. All 3 have a similar appearance about the word ONE on the reverse. That strikes me as odd. Has also sold a 1909 S VDB which I am almost certain is not genuine. I screenshot the VDB. Doesn't look right to me.

Good catch on this shyster, 52Raymo! Here are pics of another of his fake 16-D's. This one sold for $1,025. IMHO, even though polished, a genuine 16-D in this grad might have fetched three times the price realized. I'm guessing the duped buyer thought he got quite a bargain on this purchase.

The date and mint mark doesn't look right all together from these images. There appeared to be shill bidding. Edit: Just checked on Ali xpress for 1916 D Mercury dime silver copy coin, unfortunately; I can't place link here.

Just checked at that site as well, the oddity I previously mentioned in the ONE on the reverse is a pretty good giveaway that these came from there. I don't know if this seller is intentionally selling fakes, or just as ignorant as the ppl buying from him.

Quote: What do you think? Call me naive, but I like to believe in Hanlon's Razor. If there was indeed shill bidding, that is ominous, but still plausible that the seller is unaware that the coins are fakes.
