Looks like a die crack - not uncommon on Morgans

Condition is everything and a good sized die crack like that plus high grade would add to the premium slightly. Go check out VAMworld to match it up! EDIT: Just saw you were new to the forum. In that case I'll provide you a link to VAMworld for your 1900-O. Welcome to the CCF! http://ec2-13-58-222-16.us-east-2.c.../1900-O_VAMs

Thank you for the wonderful information and I will go to that site and look. I am really getting interested in this and I have several coins I have questions about. I'm even going to order a microscope to look at them better. I find this very interesting and all the history behind coins that I never knew about. Thanks again and I'm so glad I found this site!!

Glad to have you! Looking forward to seeing your other coins.
Along with the microscope, consider a 30x-60x loupe too.

Thank you for all the nice "Welcome" messages and help!! I am getting addicted to looking coins and learning about them. I think I'm going to just spend five minutes checking out a coin and before I know it its 3 hours later!! LOL

I apologize for the mistake of calling it a half dollar. I have been looking at so many lately and didn't realize I did that .
