Welcome to the CCF! Just a heads up, please orientate your pictures to be straight up and down. This helps with examinations by CCF members. Concerning the coin, I'm not sure if it is a clashed die, slightly off center, or if it was altered by pressing another coin into it. I look forward to hearing from the pros (you on coop?).

Sorry to say in not an error, just PSD, but even more sorry to hear about your dog . Someone put a few coins together and squeezed them together with a vice, making this coin.

I have added it this time, but you should include the date, mintmark, and the denomination in your titles. Why Topic Titles are ImportantThe title of your topic is very important. Let's say you need help attributing an 1896 Morgan Dollar.... - Horrendous: Help!
- Bad: Need help with coin
- Better: Need help with Morgan Dollar
- Good: Need help with 1896 Morgan Dollar
- Awesome: Need help with V
AM on 1896 Morgan Dollar
This enables the members with expertise pertaining to your question to easily find and answer your question. The title of the topic also becomes the title of the topic's web page, which enables us to attract more collectors to the site. The more members we have, the more we learn.

This is kind of random but, Coop, the picture of the Double Struck Buffalo 5C looks like Voldemort off of the Harry Potter movies. If you don't know what that is, just search up "Voldemort" and go to images in google or whatever browser you use.

I didn't say it was double struck. I said it could be, but I couldn't tell from the pictures. Pictures are hard for me.
I also said it was probably a vise job, in other words.

Just helping you to confirm that it wasn't doubled struck. But if it were, both strikes would be normal, not mirrored. That was the point.

I know...but I couldn't tell if the devices were mirrored or not, sometimes pictures are hard for me.
