This Lincoln Shield cent has damage on the top left corner of the shield. I'm pretty sure its PMD, but it's strange how the E was completely missed. I dunno, I may have looked at it too long. Is it PMD?

Coinfrog, they are grooves, not ridges. I just looked at it again and I'm positive it's damage from usage. The strikes went righjt across the E, but since the E is recessed and not raised, it won't show any damage. I thought it was odd at first because I was looking at it as if the letters were raised. My mistake, but thank you for the input.

Happens when a coin roll is opened and several coins land on one area of the coin. Not a premium for the coin.
