Is A 1970 S Proof Penny Magnetic? - Coin Community Forum

PoppaJohn New Member United States 6 Posts	Posted 07/20/2019 5:00 pm I'm puzzled by this 1970 S penny that looks like it's a proof and it sticks to a magnet. Conder101 Bedrock of the Community United States 17884 Posts	Posted 07/22/2019 07:46 am Looks nothing like a proof, and since it is magnetic and appears to be silver colored so it is almost certainly nickel plated and probably after it was scratched. Report this Post to the Staff
